Trulia gives you all the pictures that are available in the system. Usually when there is only one picture or no pictures the property is a foreclosure or a short sale, and they are often priced less than if they were a normal sale. If you are trying to have a home under contract by April 30th and close on it by June 30th, you don't have time for a short sale. You can usually close on a foreclosure in two months but not always. And, a lot of times foreclosures are priced lower to get more offers to jack up the price. You really need to check out any that are of interest to you to see the condition--some are in very good condition, but others need a lot of work and haven't been maintained. And, you need to buy a foreclosure AS IS! The bank won't do anything to improve the property unless the lender says that something needs to be done. You also need to speak with a lender to get information on the kind of loan you would qualify for and how much you would need to put down for a down payment. Let me know if you would like for me to recommend some great lenders to you, and/or if you would like more information on properties in this area. Thanks, Pat Orend pat.orend@longandfoster.com
